DAY 23 of our Book Gifts Christmas Advent Calendar - Section 132 by Helga Zeiner

Section 132 by Helga Zeiner

The story of a child bride forced into polygamy.

Lillian grows up in an American fundamentalist Mormon sect. At thirteen she becomes the child bride of a Canadian Bishop. His compound is located deep in the wilderness of British Columbia, totally isolated from the rest of the world.

When the land developer Richard Bergman buys the property next to the Bishop’s land, he learns that Lillian tries to escape from the compound. But he knows that Section 132 is the covenant of plural marriage dictated by Mormon Church founder Joseph Smith.

Should Richard Bergman get involved or should he respect the concept of religious freedom so foreign to him? Find out how he decides to solve this moral dilemma.

If you enjoy reading about a life-style so foreign that it’s hard to imagine it still exists in our civilized world, this novel will keep you on edge until you turned the last page.

The best thing about Christmas for her is...spending it at the country cottage, lighting a huge bonfire on Christmas Eve, drinking mulled wine with my family and friends, laughing, having a jolly good time in knee deep snow.

This year is special because...my husband and I are healthy and able to continue with our wonderful bonfire tradition. (I never take anything for granted)

Amazon #1 Bestselling Author
Reader’s Favorites Award Finalist

Cary Allen Stone is a brilliant writer of psychological thrillers and murder mysteries. He writes with a keen eye for detail–the graphic violence is chillingly realistic. He delivers a taut, darkly introspective, cunning and well-executed plot by leaning towards the fallible side of his characters. He understands the criminal mind avoiding the stereotypes that dominate crime thrillers. There is a good balance of chemistry and conflict, good and evil that fans will find enthralling. His characters become embedded in our psyches and the pace of his unraveling of his thriller is a ride not easily forgotten.

Cary Allen Stone is an important name to watch. This is one superb crime writer!”––Grady Harp, Amazon Hall of Fame Top 100 Reviewervine Voice

Cary’s backstory is, he spent almost forty years inside the cockpits of corporate jets and airlines and because of his flying career he acquired a unique perspective on life. He represented the USA alongside nine other countries in the Night of Magic in Bogota, Colombia, performing before dignitaries, ambassadors, and their families.
