Cape Cod Promises is the second book from the Love on Rockwell Island Contemporary Romance Series by New York Times & USA bestselling authors Bella Andre & Melissa Foster.
Fall in love on Rockwell Island...Sink your toes into the sandy beaches at the heart of Cape Cod Bay, where family comes first, good friends are around every corner, and true love is waiting beneath the stars.
Trent Rockwell has it all—a thriving legal practice, coownership of the Rockwell Resort, and a big, loving family. And yet his failed marriage to Reese Nicholson has haunted him for ten long years. Now that he has moved back to Cape Cod Bay to help run his family’s resort, he is surrounded by memories of Reese…and he can’t stop longing for the woman he’d always believed was his one true love.…
At nineteen, artist Reese Nicholson was swept off her feet by the handsome, charming, and incredibly sensual Trent Rockwell. After a whirlwind courtship, they married and moved to New York City, where they hoped all of their personal and professional dreams would come true. But six months later, Reese returned to Rockwell Island brokenhearted and disillusioned.
For a decade, Trent and Reese carefully kept their distance. But all it takes is one accidental late-night encounter to immediately stir the desires they have both tried to bury deep. Powerless to resist the heat between them, every passionate kiss, loving caress, and heartfelt apology draws them closer together. So close that they can’t help but wonder if the promises they once made to love each other forever are still true...

The biggest promise you have broken is the one I made with my parents to come back and live with them after study abroad is over.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway. I can't remember a serious promise that I have made in the past.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've ever broken an important promise.
ReplyDeleteI usually do not make promises, at least those promises that I cannot keep.
ReplyDeleteNone that I know.
ReplyDeleteI can't think of promise I broke!

ReplyDeleteI said I'd go to my nephew's graduation party and then backed out. I don't like crowds and I wasn't told there would be a lot of people. I felt bad, I thought I'd be one of 10. It turns out there were well over 200 people. They didn't tell me b/c they thought I wouldn't come. I was so glad I broke that promise! Otherwise, I'd have driven 2 hours just to turn around to go home. I hate crowds.
ReplyDeleteI honestly can't think of any. I don't make promises I can't keep. I'm far to afraid to hurt someone.
ReplyDeleteI broke up my engagement. I didn't go through with the wedding. I guess that's a promise? I usually don't break promises unless something happens to keep me from keeping them beyond my control, but I felt it would be wrong to marry someone I really didn't love enough. That's a big one.
ReplyDeletei dont know... i try to keep promises but sometimes you just have to protect yourself. i promised myself id never let someone hit me again, and i did. :(
ReplyDeleteI always promise my dog I will take her to the dog park and then something happens with the kids and we don't go:.(
ReplyDeleteMine is my annual diet for New Years'.
DeleteTil death do us part ... Was the promise that I made to my ex-husband before our divorce.
ReplyDeleteThere are none i can think of.
