Being a Mom is a special unique gift, full of unconditional love, yes it's hard work and I'm not denying it but the rewards certainly outweigh that !!
My tip to any mother-to-be is to try and enjoy as much as you can because the time passes so quickly that you will suddenly wake up and find that your once baby is now a teenager with attitude who no longer requires you as much and then your full of regrets. Don't make having a baby an issue for not being able to do things that you need doing, simply rearrange your day and to fit particular jobs in that you can manage when the baby is awake, sounds simple but only when its pointed out, believe me I've been there :-)
Memories of my Mom, her life was always full, full of love for her family, always there for her friends, always a shoulder to cry on, keeping the house spotless and the beautiful meals on the table, beyond anything else I loved her to bits xxx

THIS WEEKS QUESTION
Q: What is one thing you wish you could tell your favorite author?
My husband and I used to do a lot of country walking, even with our firstborn sitting on my hubbies back wondering what on earth was going on probably. Then life seemed to take over, especially being the kids chauffeurs - here there and everywhere, and we never seemed to get back to our love for the walking.
A while ago I read Every Natural Fact by Amy Lou Jenkins, all about her nature treks with her son and it brought the spark back for getting out there as a family again. I'm pleased to say we have now had a few family walks since reading her book and I cannot thank her enough for bringing that part of our life back.
Thank you Amy Lou Jenkins xx
Aww, that's sweet!
