The writer takes the reader on a trek through history when our heroine finds an ancient coin which enflames her curiousity and she embarks on another mystery which is fraught with danger.
As usual with her passion for the secret hideaways the author has created another fascinating storyline full of mystery, intrigue and passion. She takes us on a trip back through history to try and find out where the coin orginated from and was it part of a bigger hoard. The research shown into the townfolk and railway line, which is the reason why the town was situated there, it was is first rate.
I really enjoyed the secrets that each individual town person was hiding and the means to an end our leading lady had to go to to unlock them to discover the truth. This was a nice easy read with short chapters which give the reader a chance to digest and take on board what was evolving.
The writers ability to bring all the evidence and events together at the end makes for a good read. Anyone who likes mystery novels will enjoy this book.
