"Deborah Garner is gifted at bringing each character to life. She adds details seamlessly, making it seem like you know these people. She presents scenarios that have you thinking you know who did it, and then in the next sentence you are second guessing yourself. And that is to say, this is a great “who done it” … it gets 2 thumbs up from me :)" - reviews Tracy Helps You

A Flair for Chardonnay (A Sadie Kramer Flair Mystery Book 1)

When flamboyant senior sleuth Sadie Kramer learns the owner of Cioccolato, her favorite chocolate shop, is in trouble, she heads for the California wine country with a tote-bagged Yorkie and a slew of questions. The fourth generation Tremiato Winery promises answers, but not before a dead body turns up at the vintners’ scheduled Harvest Festival.

All four Tremiato siblings have possible motives, as well as a few peripheral acquaintances, but only one could be the guilty party. As Sadie juggles truffles, tips and turmoil, she’ll need to sort the grapes from the wrath in order to find the identity of the killer.

  1. My favorite TV detective was Columbo. He was a real characters.

  2. I always enjoyed watching MONK.

  3. Oh, definitely watched the Remington Steele reruns on A&E in the 90s (was a little too young in the 80s to care about it when it was on)... and then got the DVDs some years back. Why - Pierce Brosnan! And it's fun anyway! :)

  4. My favorite tv detective is Robert Goren played by Vincent D'onfrio from law and order criminal intent. I just love his sherlock holmes style but modern.

  5. James Garner was one of the best. After being a cowboy in “Maverick” – he always wore great vests – he became James Rockford in “The Rockford Files,” a just-getting-by private investigator who would rather make jokes than have to shoot or wrestle a law breaker. Rockford was more wisecracks than brass knuckles.

  6. My favorite is Jim Rockford because of all the colorful characters that surround him on the show.

  7. Favorite detctive ? I gotta go old school and say "Murder She wrote" -
    Angela Lansbury

  8. My favorite TV and book detective is Harry Bosch. He is the epitome of his own man.

  9. Inspector Morse because his shoes are based on novels and I think he's handsome

  10. Sherlock holmes probably.

I want to watch jessica jones, she is a detective I think

  11. My favorite tv detective is (was) Columbo because he's such a classic. Thanks for the giveaway!

  12. My favorite TV detective is Joe Kenda because he's real, caring and always passionate.

  13. I really like Sherlock Holmes!

  14. I loved maxwell smart, he was a hot mess buthat I loved his gadgets especially his shoe phone.

  15. Colombo always made me smile.
