Best News Ever !! My childhood (and adulthood) favourite Mr Men books coming to FILM !!

I don't know about you but I absolutely loved watching and reading the Mr Men growing up, so much so that I HAD to collect the full Mr Men book set and as many of you know when you have the full set it spells out 'My Mr Men Library' sad and cute at the same time !!  I will let you into a little secret......I still have this box set displayed on my bed headrest today!!
Here's the news....
A host of colourful characters, including Mr Tickle, Mr Bump and Little Miss Chatterbox, could soon be heading to the big screen. Fox Animation, the studio behind the Ice Age and Rio films, has signed a deal to turn Roger Hargreaves's beloved children's books into an animated film.
The movie will be produced by Shawn Levy, the director-producer behind the Night at the Museum series. To date, the film's director, writer and voice actors have not been announced.
In a statement, Levy said: "I loved reading these books as a kid, and now I love reading them to my own kids. Their humour, wit and uniquely specific tone make this a truly classic series. I can't wait to help shepherd them to the big screen."
The first Mr Men book, Mr Tickle, was published in 1971. Hargreaves, who died in 1988, went on to publish a further 48 books in the series, as well as 42 Little Miss books. After his death, his son, Adam Hargreaves, continued to write and illustrate additional titles in the series. More than 120 million copies have been sold, and the books have been translated into 15 different languages.
Hargreaves's work has previously been adapted for television, including a Seventies BBC series (narrated by Dad's Army star Arthur Lowe), and a 2006 US adaptation, The Mr Men Show, which was shown on Cartoon Network and Channel 5.
