I have attended a variety of learning courses over the years, mostly Instructor led when working for the Civil Service and some e-learning packages around both work and health care subjects. I have to admit I had never really thought about how much time and effort it had taken for either method to be delivered to the learner, let alone the cost of such training. So when I came across this Infographic from LeanForward it was a real eye opener. Take a look and be prepared to be shocked !!
Leanforward – eLearning Solutions

It's always interesting to see how the money can be used.
ReplyDeleteWhen you put the time and the amount together, it is a shocker.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if I believe all of the stats but maybe people will realize that teachers and professors put in a lot more hours than what they think. Of course, they don't pay teachers as much as they should which may be why the cost is so low for independent instruction.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this chart! Wow! It is a shocker. I have taken online classes- but hadn't given thought to the cost!
