"Where's My Keys?" / "Where's My Phone?"does that sound familiar in your home too? It certainly is in ours and believe it or not Moms/Wives do not have magical powers to find them either! Although there is help at hand, a small lightweight, easy to use device that solves it all, the Beets BLU Bluetooth Wireless PagerTag.
Although there are many more uses really that this can be used for - pets, bags/lugguage, purses/wallets, cameras/tablets, children, shame it doesn't work for odd socks too! What I do like about this idea is that if it is your phone that you have lost and the battery becomes dead there is no way of being able to call it, this is where the sound alarm and light of the PagerTag comes into play. Another great advantage is that if you accidentally leave your item behind you will be alerted once you become out of range.
Within minutes of receiving the PagerTag you can have it set up and ready to go. Attach it to your item and be able to track it from then on through your smartphone/device.
Before going on, I couldn't resist sharing Zipparah, Mr Zip, "Where me keys, where me phone" song from Britain's Got Talent.
Simply download the free app to your device, pop the battery that comes in the box into the PagerTag and they will pair together.
Once the PagerTag and app are paired, this is the screenshot which shows it is on, within range, battery level and alarm all set up. You can also add more than one PagerTag if you have additional ones by switching the scanning on to pair them up too.
By clicking on the arrow it takes you to the individual PagerTag page, showing your settings and also where you would press the alarm to locate your lost item.
You can also use the PagerTag to remotely control certain aspects of your smartphone such a taking a photo or playing music.
You have the option of general settings for each PagerTag too.
If you have lost an item use the PagerTag location to find out exactly where it is. I will definitely be continuing to use this either our household keys or hubbies mobile phone as they are the two main items that cause panic in our home. I'm still at the playing stage with this, once I understand all the settings then I can just let it do its work worry free.
Check first to make sure your phone/tablet is compatible.

This would be perfect for my Mom!! She is always misplacing her keys!! Now I just have to figure out if her smart phone is one that will work with this--it is certainly worth the price!!
ReplyDeleteI think this is a good idea I'm always loosing my phone and have to get my husband to ring it.
ReplyDeleteWe have one of those pet locators and I was seriously thinking of putting one of the tags in my husband's wallet or car keys.... now I might just seriously get him this instead ;)
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a good product! Hehe we love that song. My husband is always losing his keys, grr.. I will have to tell him about this :)
ReplyDeleteThis is a fab idea - I'm always leaving stuff behind, so getting an alert would be awesome!
ReplyDeleteHa I thought of the song the second I saw the title, the product looks handy, think I need 1 myself.
ReplyDeleteThat's very cool. I've ordered an umbrella with a similar feature - it checks the weather and will remind me not leave it behind if it's going to rain!
ReplyDeleteLol it reminds me of that guy who was on Xfactor or BGT a couple of years ago that song was catchy. This locator is perfect.
ReplyDeleteI so need this, I am forever losing my keys
ReplyDeleteI have this. I love it. It is so useful.
ReplyDeleteI could use something like this, I'm forever losing my phone!
ReplyDeleteNow this is quite clever. I remember my dad having a keyring on his keys which whistled if you whistled, so you could locate them, it got annoying but was handy x
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like such a clever and useful little gadget to have x
