We set off on Saturday to do our shop for Days 1-5, starting off at Holland & Barrett for as much of the natural organic produce as we could find as well as the vitamins that Lisa recommends using whilst on the detox. I am determined that if I am going to do this then I am going to do it fully or not at all to get the maximum result (hopefully). Next stop was the supermarket for everything else on the list, including the body brush for daily dry brushing, yes it's not all about food on this detox. Now everything is bought there is no backing away from the commitment, fingers crossed all goes well!!
On the menu today....
Day One
Breakfast: Sun + Shine Smoothie
Mid-Morning Snack: 1 apple with 1 Tbsp. raw almond butter
Lunch: Watercress Salad
Mid-Afternoon Snack: carrot, zucchini, and red pepper slices with Spinach Dip
Dinner: Lucky Soup

ReplyDeleteBest of luck with the detox--I wish I could try it but it is really not diabetic friendly!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your detox! I've never done one before; however, I did change my eating style at the beginning of the summer and lost 23 lbs.
