Mother’s Day is less than 2 weeks away, which means it’s time to
celebrate the very women who put up with it ALL! The tantrums, the
illnesses, the tedious school projects, the play dates - Mum is the
modern day Superwoman, and so for at least one day a year, she deserves
to be reminded of how fabulous she really is. How will you be
celebrating Mother’s Day this year?
Did you know that the holiday known as Mother’s Day was first celebrated
in 1908, when Anna Jarvis held a memorial for her mother in America?
Today it’s celebrated worldwide, with cards being the leading gift on
this special occasion. No matter how much planning ahead you do, it’s
always hard to find the perfect gift for your mum: is she the timeless
fashionista, always managing to exude style? Or is she the master of the
kitchen, always bringing the family together with her delicious
recipes?
Whichever the case, Next are here to help with our top Mother’s Day gift
suggestions this year. Every woman has her scent, so fragrances are the
perfect way to show your mum you care. Why not give her this delicate,
sweet Sarah Jessica Parker Lovely Eau de Parfum £32 ?
If your mum absolutely loves to cook and bake, then get her this Emily Double Oven Glove £7 - a lovely kitchen accessory!
And finally, if the best present you can give your mum this Mother’s Day is a collection of some of your best memories, then get her this Cream Love Collage Frame £30 to fill with her favourite photographs.
If you’re a mum, what’s the best Mother’s Day present you’ve ever gotten?

I think the best gifts are the handmade ones from my girls. Beautiful products--I didn't have any ideas for my upcoming birthday, but now I do! I am passing this on to my husband and family!
ReplyDeleteThese are great suggestions! My son is only one, so I have yet to receive a Mother's Day gift from him.
ReplyDeleteI think the best gift is time. If my daughter offers to spend a day with me now, I am so happy! She is teen and never wants to, lol!

I always love celebrating Mother's Day. I never knew the history of how it started.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all of lovely gift ideas!
My best mother's day gifts are the ones the kids have come up with, maybe flowers from the yard, or trying to cook me a meal. I love the simple things. These items are quite a catch though!
ReplyDeleteThis year my Mom is having some minor surgery that will keep her from working in her flowers. I think I'll give the gift of time and a strong back and help her create beauty in her yard!
ReplyDeleteI got one that has never been beaten, my Daughter and her Hubby came down to see me...they live 2 hrs away. They told me I was going to be a Grandma!!
