This weeks question:

Q: What would you do over if you were to start your blog again from scratch?

Wow what a question........I love my books and my book reviews etc but I think I would change the name of the blog so it is more general rather than just 'books'. I tend to blog about lots of different things so that would make sense. Apart from that not much really, Ive had loads of support since I started blogging from all you bloggers out there and that I would certainly not change, without it I would have been completely stuck.

Unexpected Books: Which books did you have reservations about reading, but ended up loving once you did?

Absolutely, totally yes, but Ive mentioned it sooooo many time before.......even so it has to be Super Born!!

Totally not my genre at all but one of the best books I have read and enjoyed, so glad I read it now.

Yeah, that part I can understand! It's why I added the "whatever else I come across" in my blog description. But the majority of my posts are book related!

My Book Vow

I will continue to treasure my books every day

We were reading a book the other day and laughed out loud when we realised we could of been reading about ourselves or any other bookseller for that matter, we thought you might enjoy the little snippet....

However dull and dingy the shop may have appeared in the eyes of most people, to one person it was the most delightful spot on earth, and that person was none other than the owner of this collection of literature, some of which was remarkable for its antiquity if nothing else.

Bartholomew Stranges whole world was in his shop, beyond it he had no ambition, no affection, no desires. He loved his books simply for their own sakes, not for what he got by them, indeed it cost him such a pang to part with them, that if it had not been a necessity he would have refused to do so. Often if anyone wished to purchase a favourite book he would put a large price on it so as to keep it in his own possession, and be willing to wear the scantiest clothes, and live on the plainest food, if by this means he could keep his precious treasures.....
