Book Description
Believing herself responsible for her father s fatal diving accident, Rachel
Lyons has withdrawn from the world and assumed a safe position at a foundation
office. When called upon by a museum director to assist her former love interest
with the recovery of a cursed relic from a sunken Chinese merchant ship, she has
no intention of cooperating until her brother is kidnapped by a drug-dealing
gangster. In order to save him and gain control over her life, Rachel must not

her father s death.
Our Review
An adventure story with everything you could ask for. A story of buried treasure with a curse over it, gangsters who want their stolen money back, a salvage operator on the brink of bankruptcy and the beautiful heroine who wants to find the treasure to honor her dead father.
This book had me hooked from the first page, with the descriptive texts of each individual along with why they want to find the treasure for their own needs but how this is affected by outside factors and their reactions to this, really gets the reader involved. The writing is first class and very clever and along with the short chapters makes this book very enjoyable and easy to follow, although you may find it very difficult to put down so be warned.
The fast paced story line follows the characters facing their problems and how, in order to achieve their goals, have to learn to trust each other but with the past history of the two main characters that is more difficult that they can imagine.
The writing makes a refreshing change to read a story that isn't the normal run of the mill and it is obvious that the author has put a lot of imaginative thought into the work as you read your way through.
Anyone who likes adventure, mystery and intrigue will love this book and I will certainly be looking out for future work by this author.
