Reluctant lawyer, Jamie Quinn, has returned to her family law practice after a hiatus due to the death of her mother. It's business as usual until a bitter divorce case turns into a murder investigation, and Jamie's client becomes the prime suspect. When she can't untangle truth from lies, Jamie enlists the help of Duke Broussard, her favorite private investigator, to try to clear her client's name. And she's hoping that, in his spare time, he can help her find her long-lost father.

I'm not sure what the name of my PI business would be but I love books that involve them. I also like the mix of personal and professional mysteries. This sounds interesting!
ReplyDeleteI like PI books but goodness...name of the agency if I had one...well, not very good at coming up with names. I had a terrible time deciding on the names of my two sons! My mind is totally blank on this one. I hope someone comes up with some interesting names because I'm not coming up with one.
ReplyDeleteMy PI Agency would be called, "Sapphire Eyes". I use sapphire in all my code names. Like my ViewBug page is "Sapphire Memories" I bet you guess it it's my birthstone.
