Memories on Canvas from Canvas Dezigns Review and Giveaway

We have so many pictures, years of memories, stored in albums in the cupboard, on CD's in the draw and even still stored on our phones and camera's still to do yet we never seem to find the time to really sit back and enjoy them and take that trip down memory lane.  That's the beauty of having one of your favourite images transferred to a canvas picture, being able to see it every day as you walk past and smile which is what we immediately thought as soon as we saw one of photographs from our Nephew's wedding.  One thing we never seem to get is a picture with all four of us in together, one of us is normally too busy taking it, so having all four of us together dressed to the nine's gave us the incentive to finally do it.

I absolutely love looking at this, especially at my two boys, they look so grown up now and how smart do they look !!  Not an everyday occurrence I can tell you !!  The wedding took place at Wynyard Hall with such a beautiful setting, it was so breathtaking.

When we had the chance to review a canvas from Canvas Dezign, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to have it done.  It was so simple to order from their website that I wish I had taken the incentive sooner, I also found that they really want the best from the canvas they create for you and will actually let you know beforehand if the quality of your image is not good enough.  I was a little concerned about receiving such a large canvas through the post but I needn't have worried, it was so well packaged and was sent via a courier in just a two days.

What struck me straight away was the actual depth of the canvas compared to one's I have seen before.  It actually measures 38mm and makes such a difference to the overall appearance and quality, it really seems to stand out.  Another difference I noticed was the corner wedges at the back of the frame giving more strength and I suppose to also keep the canvas tighter, which again were not included the one's I had looked at elsewhere.

We were so impressed by the canvas that we actually decided to get another one.  Our favourite holiday destination is The Holy Island/Lindisfarne in Northumberland, such a perfect retreat to escape to.  At high tide the island is cut off from the mainland and you feel that you are alone on your own private island its beautiful, unique and an extremely spiritual place to visit.  This is a picture of us after we had completed the maze with the boys and Harvey the dog!!  It brings back fond memories and makes us feel that bit closer to our special place.

Both canvas prints have transformed our room and make it so much more personal.  The colours are really sharp and really bring the canvas alive.  We both are really pleased with both canvas prints that I cannot recommend trying canvasdezigns enough, I will certainly be using them again when we have another special picture.

Our canvas prints measure 24" wide x 14" high for the Wedding one and the Holy Island measures 24" wide x 18" high.  I think these are so worth it and are really a great price for the quality and complete enjoyment it brings.
