Getting prepared for my new year resolution with the help of the Ozeri Bathroom Scales

So having just finished our new bathroom and dare I say it getting ready to go positively into my new year resolution (in just over a month away) we needed a pair of bathroom scales and oh my did Ozeri deliver this time.  These are 100% gorgeous, extremely eye catching,  can you tell how happy I am with them!!  Having the tempered white glass base not only looks stunning but actually feels it too with the smooth edges.  The chrome around the dial really highlights the shape and design well.  

The large easy to read dial weighs in both lbs and kg.  Both the dial and digital display weighs up to 400 lbs / 180 kg.  

As soon as the scales are touched / stepped on they instantly light up.  The description on Amazon details that the scales use 4 high precision GX sensors that weigh in 0.2 lbs / 0.1 kg increments, with StepOn technology that captures precise weight measurements upon contact.

The scales takes 3 AAA batteries and the indicator tells you when they are running low.

Underneath the scales you have four rubber pads to protect the floor and keep them from moving.  Here you can change the batteries, switch between lbs to kg and even set yourself a 24 hour alarm so you don't miss a day, don't worry if you forget as the alarm only lasts around 20 seconds.

These go so well with our charcoal floor tiles and the overall black and white theme of the bathroom.  I'm hoping that this love affair lasts as I am going to need all the incentives possible if I am going to start and keep to my resolutions this time.

Jazzing up your iPad with teenage approval - check out Case Happy

I was so pleased when the product arrived as the design is just as striking in the real world as it is on the website.  It came in two parts, the ultra slim foldable front cover and the hard plastic back cover along with a screen protector, cleaning cloth and stylus pen, 

As you can see from my son's 'well used' iPad, the protective covers are well and truly needed.  The front cover is made from Polyurethane with the inside having a soft lining to protect the screen.  These covers are very easy to add to your iPad, first you simply click the magnetic strip of the front cover to the magnetic bar of the iPad itself.

Turn the iPad over, ensure you have the cover lined up the right way, as the cut out parts perfectly line up with your iPad speaker / buttons and then click into place.

And voila!  You have a brand new stylish looking iPad that get's the thumbs up from one very happy teenager.  Why does he like it so much?

I've got to say I totally agree, very pleased with the quality and the look of the product, it's so nice to use being thin and the fact you can even use it as a stand when the front cover is folded up is another bonus.  Will certainly be getting another one for his jealous brother!

The Union Jack iPad cover is currently reduced to £19.95 from £29.95 so a great bargain!!  Although there are many other designs available and you can even customise your own cover.

Jones Handmade Soap Review - Natural eco friendly soaps

If your like me and prefer natural products to use on your skin then I highly recommend you try Jones Handmade Soap products.  I was lucky enough to test the 'Apple of my eyes Lotion Bar' .  This is where 'smelly vision' would be extemely useful, you would not believe the beautiful aroma of the bars as I opened the case, wow!!  Even now, after many uses, I can still smell the apple.

When I picked up the bars they felt like velvet, soooo soft.  On rubbing the bar into my skin it easily melted and felt lovely and creamy, it left my skin not only soft and silky but smelling gorgeous.  I've been using the lotion bar now for two weeks and can already feel the difference in my skin and will definetly continue to use it, in fact I will be probably be trying out the soaps next, the smellier the better!!
