How many bookcases do you have, and how do you organize the shelves??????

My answer....
Seriously dare I answer this !!  We have a house full of books, not only are we massive lovers of  real printed books we also sell books through our online store and yes everything is stored at home.  We have books all over the place, so many bookcases far too many to count.

We organise by genre and then alphabetically, my hubbie is obsessed with it, he even puts the same author in series order.

I have to share a long standing mistake I made at an auction once which my hubbie won't let me forget - I walked in to see one of those beautiful old fashioned oak bookcases the type schools or old country mansions had, you know the floor to ceiling, that takes up the whole wall type, it was love at first sight and I won it, yeah!!  Until it arrived at our house, twice as large as the room we planned to put it in, oops knew I should have measured it first.  Luckily for us we have a fantastic joiner who's parents live next door and he worked his magic and the beautiful bookcase will stand and be admired for a long time to come.

Book Blogger Hop

Do you follow a lot of blogs but rarely read them or do you follow a few you read regularly???

My answer....
I follow lots and lots of blogs with the intention of popping over regularly but I seem to be always running against the clock with normal every day things, looking after my own blog and book tours, sadly I can't get over as much as I would like to.  I do have my favourite blogs that I will try to pop over and keep up to date with and when I do have a quiet day that's when I like to check out as many blogs as I can.

Book Blogger Hop

When you view someone's profile, what information do you like to see??

My answer....
The first thing I look for is the website link in their blogger profile so I can pop over, without that you start to play detective and even then there is no guarantees.  On the site profile I like to see the bloggers name, a profile picture and how to contact them easily, this helps when I'm searching for a particular blogger.  I also like to see easy follow links on a sites's sidebar to save searching for them x

Book Blogger Hop

Did you ever make a HUGE mistake when you posted a review? For Example: Did you have the correct book title, but the wrong author in the blog post title? If so, how long until you found your mistake?

My answer....
I've made some errors for sure, such as forgetting to add social media links to the post or captions on photo's etc luckily I've realised early and changed the post.  I did make a mistake on Facebook once and typed part of the title wrong the author soon highlighted it for me lol x

My answer....
I like to follow blogs that appeal to me, whether by eye catching design, contents, similar interests.  I also like to follow blogs who I work closely with in blogging groups and various other places as well as following blogs back who have followed mine.

What do you think is the best book marketing tool? Blog, facebook, twitter, pinterest, or goodreads?

My answer....
I would say out of the options above it would be blog.  Not only do you have your normal readers but you blog posts will be shared on Triberr, if your a member of a tribe, as well as facebook and twitter if you have arranged that.  Plus your posts show up on Google search, so for me its blog x

Book Blogger Hop

To you, what qualifies a book as good or bad? Are some books objectively better than others, or is it purely a matter of opinion?

My answer....
It's difficult to put into words really but for me it's when you pick up a book and it captures your imagination,  not necessarily right away though, your drawn to each page and really don't want to put the book down at all.  The author's writing style has connected with you so well and you dread the moment that the book ends. There have been a couple of books that are in genres that I tend not to read and so I'm not expecting to be 'wowed' by them but then they surprise you and have suddenly taken hold of you.  I think that the connection is purely down to the writing skills of the author.

My answer....
For me that's a really hard one to answer, I work with so many fantastic book bloggers each day that narrowing it down to just one would be too hard.  I think all book bloggers do a fantastic job and I love being part of the book blogging community.  Yeah sorry guys that's as good as it gets!!
