Billingham, UK, welcomes the Olympic Torch

We've all been waiting for the day to finally arrive and it certainly did not disappoint !!

We started the afternoon off at our local school for their Olympic Torch Event, picnics, brass band and an entertainment duo.

Then it was time to start to line the streets !!

    

 The sirens are heard and the Olympic procession starts

And it goes onwards onto the next lucky town.  Amazing !!

The afternoon treat ended with the releasing of the charity fundraising balloons for a young boy from the school who is seriously ill, we wish you all well Jonny xx
