They are often treatable (like a medication imbalance) except for Alzheimer's. Of the top 10 diseases affecting adults, Alzheimer's is the ONLY one without prevention, treatment or a cure. <br /><br />Csilla: Along with a healthy diet, exercise and interestingly being social is known to be helpful. <br /><br />Mai Tran: Currently 50% of people over age 85 have some form of dementia. <br /><br />bn100: Spot on!
