Our Mini Break to Gran Canaria ..........

We recently decided that we needed a well deserved break to re-energise ourselves and had a family mini break on the island of Gran Canaria.

Not to make you jealous of course !!

We stayed in a lovely place called Maspalomas, at the Hotel Maspalomas.  The hotel was set in a really select residential area away from all the hustle and bustle of the lively Playa de Ingles, which is just what we needed to relax and unwind.

It was only a twenty minute walk into Meloneras, which is a beautiful beach resort with a fascinating Nature Reserve.

Meloneras has a lovely beach, some lovely bars and restaurants and some very select shops.  All of which was set in a lovely quiet and safe area.

We will definitely be returning, but not before we have returned to Elenite, Bulgaria, according to the children!!  They absolutely loved it the last time we were there and are totally keen on returning.

So it looks like I'll be searching for yet another holiday, yes its a hard life isn't it !! Before I book anything though I will be checking, as always, on www.mega.co.uk for their latest travel savings and discounts.  I found their site through a friend and have managed to find some really great travel deals for both our UK and abroad holidays. Plus the more money I save the more spending money the family can enjoy, it's a win win !
